Other:

Dr. Elliott moved to Kamloops in 2017 where she began working in Tertiary Mental Health Services, within the Interior Health Authority. Dr. Elliott has provided many workshops and training sessions for Tertiary Mental Health on working with emotions, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioural based approaches. She has additionally co-facilitated several CBTp training workshops at the Royal Ottawa Hospital, as well as the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. She has provided numerous Project ECHO wellness sessions for health care workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic, including recently being invited to provide a Project ECHO wellness session for healthcare providers as part of the Project ECHO in Ontario. She is experienced in working with complex and severe and persistent mental illness, and is known for taking a compassionate, recovery-focused approach (i.e., focus on meaning and quality of life, along side difficult experiences).
